3rd and 5th August
Pointless Anger, Righteous Ire @ Roundhouse Studios
What do you get when you cross the sharp wit of BAFTA nominee Michael Legge with the furious intellect of multi-award winner Robin Ince? An explosive. high calibre show, that's what. Previewing their Edinburgh show at the Camden fringe this month, two middle-aged, well-respected stand-ups join forces to rant about things that get their goat.
2nd-7th August
Marc Maron @ Soho Theatre
For over 15 years, Marc Maron has been writing and performing raw, honest and thought-provoking stand-up for radio, print, stage and television. A legend in the US comedy circuit, he has appeared on HBO, Conan, Letterman and starred in two of his own Comedy Central specials. For two weeks, Maron will showcase his unique brand of sharp humour at Soho Theatre in a series of special late-night gigs.
6th-7th August
James Mullinger's Schooldays @ Etcetera Theatre
James Mullinger follows up his critically acclaimed 2009 show about his life as a feminist with a brand new hour of hilarity, focusing on his horrific and hilarious school days. Mullinger's show went down a storm at the Camden Fringe last year, and was followed by a sell-out tour and West End theatre run. His second Camden Fringe show promises to be his most brutally honest yet.
