The Boy With Tape on His Face @ Soho Theatre
Nominated for the Edinburgh 'Best Newcomer' award this year, Boy With Tape on His Face is a truly innovative, brilliant comedy act, one you rarely get to see on the comedy circuit these days. A combination of vaudeville theatre, mime and physical comedy, Australian comic Sam Wills has put his own stamp on the silent genre, using the audience and some carefully timed pop songs to aid his gags.
Thursday 21st-Friday 22nd October
Tom Binns presents Ian D Montford: Touching the Dead @ Canal Cafe Theatre
Brilliant character comedian Tom Binns (he of Ivan Brackenbury fame) brings you Ian D. Montfort, a psychic from Sunderland who specialises in seance. Watch in wonderment (and amusement) as he makes contact with dead celebrities, from William Shakespeare to Jeremy Beadle.
Sunday 24th October
Greg Davies: Firing Cheeseballs at a Dog @ Bloomsbury Theatre
Having now added a second London date to his tour due to demand, Greg Davies (AKA Mr Gilbert from The Inbetweeners) brings his Edinburgh Award nominated show to the Bloomsbury Theatre tonight. Full of beautifully crafted anecdotes on his Shropshire schooldays, his teaching career and his eccentric father, this is a fantastically funny show delivered by a gifted storyteller.
