Every Monday our editors bring you their personal highlights of the week ahead. Emma McAlpine selects her top three comedy nights.

Thursday 3rd- Saturday 5th March
No Son of Mine @ Leicester Square Theatre basement
If you see one show this month, make it this. A cult hit at last year's Fringe, Perrier nominee Rufus Jones plays Dennis Hazeley, a somewhat precious actor, trying to make it into the big time with his highly questionable play, 'Afghan Hounds'. Don Hazeley (played by Alex Kirk) is Dennis's father, an excruciating, cringe-worthy, proud, Grimsby- based car salesman. Dysfunctional comedy heaven.
Dara O'Briain and friends @ Hammersmith Apollo
Mock The Week star Dara O'Briain hosts a stellar night of live comedy in aid of The Tropical Zoo. The charity event features a fantastic line up of first class comedians including British Iranian comic, Shappi Khorsandi, dry American wit, Rich Hall, and raucous Canadian Mike Wilmot.
Sunday 6th March
Loving Linda - a gala night of comedy and music @ Rose Theatre\
Much-loved comedian and broadcaster Linda Smith died of ovarian cancer in 2006. To mark the fifth anniversary of Linda's passing, two fantastic concerts are being held to raise £50,000 for the Linda Smith Memorial Fund - set up in 2010 in partnership with the charity Target Ovarian Cancer (TOC) to benefit the charity's 'Survivorship Programme'. In this the second gala night, compere Jo Brand will be joined on stage by a number of high profile comic writers and performers, including Rory Bremner, Mark Thomas, and John Hegley, with music performed by Ian Shaw.
