Jay Forman: Pretend You're Happy @ LST

New songs, poems and description-defying musical weirdness from this multi-award-winning funny guitarist (and brother to Beardyman), presenting his second Edinburgh show. Here's the blurb: "The 90s are now as long ago as the 70s were in the 90s. How did the future catch up with us so fast?". A talented, genial and witty performer, if you're not heading to Edinburgh this is a great chance to catch a sneak preview of his new show.

Friday 1st - Sunday 3rd July
Tiny Acts of Rebellion @ Hen and Chickens

Mighty Boosh and Snuff Box star Rich Fulcher previews his brand new Edinburgh show Tiny Acts of Rebellion based on his book about how to stick it to the man. Through a series of videos, audience experiments and petrified yogurt cups, Fulcher shows us how we can fight the madness simply by being ourselves. As he explains, "we may not be able to overthrow governments, but we can flip off our waiter behind the menu." Full of trademark silliness and offbeat wit, we can't wait to see the stage version of this book.

Saturday 2nd July
Boothby Graffoe @ Bull and Gate

Highly regarded on the comedy circuit for his surreal and absurd songs, Boothby Graffoe makes a one-off appearance at the Bull and Gate next week. He will be performing songs from his current critically acclaimed album Songs For Dogs, Funerals, supported by multi-instrumentalist Nick Pynn (who you may have caught on Stewart Lee's Comedy Vehicle).
