Ali Cook: Principles and Deceptions @ Hen and Chickens

Star of Channel Four's Dirty Tricks and Five's Monkey Magic, award-winning TV magician Ali Cook returns this preview of his new Edinburgh show, a heady mix of anarchic illusion and off-beat comedy. Cook's irreverent persona and respected sleight of hand have made him one of the pioneers of the alternative magic scene. Check him out.

Toby: Edinburgh preview
@ Invisible Dot

An Edinburgh preview of new material from brilliant sketch duo Toby, a pair of twisted sisters vying for their Mother's affection. They earned great reviews at last year's Fringe, and this new show, will almost certainly be worth a look.

Thursday 24th June 
Stand-Up movies presents Airplane! @ Prince Charles Cinema

An evening of live stand-up and classic comedy film at one of London's top independent cinemas, The Prince Charles. Tonight's show  includes a screening of the classic disaster movie spoof, Airplane!, alongside live performances from cheeky ventriloquist Nina Conti, the delightfully offbeat Henry Ginsberg and quirky storyteller Gemma Whelan. Head there from 7:45pm for 'buy one, get one free' drinks at the bar.
