Every Friday, our editors bring you their personal highlights of the week to come. Emma McAlpine selects her top three gigs.

Thursday 5th-Saturday 7th May
Frisky and Mannish @ Jackson's Lane

The twisted pop duet are back with a rollicking college sequel to their triumphant debut show: School of Pop.  Expect more flamboyant pop posturing and music mash-ups, as the quirky double act pay homage to some of pop history's greatest contributors, including Brandy and Monica, Freddie Mercury and 'what'sherface opera bitch'.

Saturday 7th May
Saturday Night Fulchfest @ Bull and Gate

Mighty Boosh and Snuff Box star Rich Fulcher hosts this irreverant comedy night at The Bull and Gate in Kentish Town. After almost half of 2011 away following Rich's trip to LA, Fulchfest returns with a top line-up including the surreal 'comedian's comedian' Simon Munnery and a top-secret laugh Merchant who cannot be named. *nudge-nudge-wink-wink*

Saturday 7th May
Heroes of Alternative Comedy @ Leicester Square Theatre

Ex-rock tour manager Bob Slayer presents a who's who of the early days of alternative comedy, alongside the most exciting non-conformists of today, as variety and bizarre sit alongside raw, edgy stand-up. Tonight's show features brilliant absurdist comic Dr Brown, Sunday Times' 'Best Newcomer' 2010.
