Jagerin

venue The Grosvenor

I went to a gig there a week ago with a friend. It was a first time I've been and I never realised that South London had a great place like this! Normally you have to travel up to the northern parts of London to find this kind of place and relaxed atmosphere.
This place doesn't seem to pretend to be anything. Not a gastro pub, a trendy wine bar or a cool in-kids place, just a nice place to hang out and catch some bands really.
The bar staff were friendly and real, not the kind that you sometimes encounter who take personal offence to serving you a decent drink. Who I expect to be the land lord seemed to have some real interest in his bar and the gig as well.
They have a really good selection of drinks - lagers, ciders, ales, spirits and even non-alcoholic wines! And my personal favourite: Jagermeister!
This place really should be more known!
