Jenny Durling

Film taste: I like films. They taste nice.

Music taste: indie shmindie and singer/ songwriter carry-on. At the moment - Grizzly Bear, Los Campesinos, These New Puritans,Foals, Adam Green...

Hangout: Sure do. Generally out East or in the Den of Cam.

Most likes (about London): Music, boys and their hair, cider, gypsy punk, tea, candour, oceans, dresses, bad jokes, gin, being cool, whisky, laughing, dogs, duvets, stars, ripped tights, words, being old, misandry, sleeping, talent, potatoes, unicorns, accents, olives, recycling.

Least likes: Rude wankers, avocado, working all the time, ignorance, blue cheese, poor spelling and grammar, drum n bass, people who spell 'and' like 'n', needless aggression, Carling, thieves, most of West London.

Me in 10 words: I have a rather considerable problem being concise about anything.

event Frank Turner Sunday, 05 October
Mr. Turner's startingly accurate observations about life as a twenty-something musician / music-lover in London, razor sharp wit, unassuming bearing and incredibly robust voice make him a performer not to be missed.
venue The Windmill Thursday, 02 October
A Brixton institution and acclaimed talent-trap, the Windmill is small, cosy and even has fairy lights! The staff are friendly and both know and love their music and their door prices put other venues to shame. A sure-fire bet for an awesome night out.
artist Florence and The Machine Thursday, 02 October
With an obscene amount of talent and the looks and charm to boot, Florence and the Machine will blow you away. From the deepest, darkest depths of Camberwell, she has a spectacularly massive, sexy voice and is damn compelling to watch. She's a young'un as well which means there can only be more brilliance to come.
artist Late Of The Pier Thursday, 02 October
These filthy electro scamps will set a sonic fire to your feet and have you dancing with silly-looking raised hands within minutes. Debut single and choon ce soir has got to be 'Space and the Woods'. Catch them at a carpark, warehouse or most likely heaving venue near you and you won't be disappointed.
