Joj Sharratt

Film taste: Black Swan, Pan's Labyrinth, True Grit

Music taste: Particularly fickle, by the time I've told you I like it, I've probably gone off it. Especially fond of anything new and progressive.

Hangout: Roofs, Rivers, Parks, (pub) Gardens or somewhere underground, dingy and loud - depending on the weather.

Most likes (about London): The massive range of musical scenes catered to.

Least likes: The 80s ..and a bit the 90s.

Me in 10 words: Music.

venue Troxy Monday, 09 May
Cited as London's 'most versatile' venue you might expect to find it's capacity to host gigs to be a bit of an afterthought. However, the one-time cinema makes for an incredible place to see live music.

The layout of the room makes it easy to see the stage from almost anywhere in the house, and equally the sound quality is consistently great throughout.

Apart from being a little out of the way, it's hard to fault Troxy. It's difficult to see why they don't put more on there.

The Underbelly is a great little venue for both bands and DJs, or just for a quiet drink. The layout is intentionally a little funky and goes a way to creating a unique and memorable atmosphere.
