venue SON Gallery
Wednesday, 07 July
This area of Peckham is really kicking off at the moment and the Son gallery is the newest addition to the thriving arts scene.
In the 6 months since its launch its had some really groundbreaking shows and it's rapidly catching up with its older sister, The Hannah Barry gallery, in the reputation stakes.

Having lived above these guys office for 3 years I'm yet to see them, sometime soon I hope!

Seeing him at Bestival. All reports on his live sets have been top notch and with his mad production techniques and general insanity I cant wait to see how it goes!
venue East Village

Although there are some quality nights at East Village I didn't think that much of the downstairs section. With low ceilings and large supporting pillars all over the place it gives more of a impression of Gollems cave than a club.
event London Electronic Dance Festival

Saturday at this festival looks wicked, who knows if I'll ever be able to see Leftfeild again and although Aphex Twin seems to be being generous with his festival dates this year he hasn't exactly been forthcoming in the past!

A club in a old public toilet? How strange. However they have done a really good job at doing this place up and there is not a urinal in sight, except in the socially place thankfully.
There is always something different going on here and its nearly always good!

venue 606 Club

This is a really cool little place, the basement setting and buzz to enter door entry gives it a real sense of finding a secret gem. They always have great artists and if you add to that some great food and old school jazz bar atmosphere and you have fantastic evening out, if a little expensive.

I'm very excited about this, Hopefully he's going to live up to the legend, and Pendulum live is always a awesome show!
