I love the Ritzy- it always has an interesting mix of films and that theater quality that all cinemas should have!

Unfortunately everything conspired to go a little bit wrong the last time I ventured to the globe: it rained, the play was dull and planes kept flying overhead, dispelling somewhat the myth of being transported back in time. That said, while the production was fairly flat, the atmosphere certainly wasn't and the rain and the wind made it seem all the more authentic! I would certainly advise bringing some kind of waterproof attire and selecting your play wisely but overall it's an experience that shouldn't be missed!

Usually I don't like bowling as a rule ( as I'm shockingly bad) and I was rather put out when I asked to put the sides of the lanes up (to prevent the ball just rolling into the gutter) to be told in disbelief- 'Put the sides up? I'm sorry but I'm afraid we don't have that kind of technology here!'. However, it was still a pretty fun night and the performance enhancing cider meant that at least I didn't come last. Last time I was there they had a live band who were a little bit pants but the time before that 50s tunes were blasting out and everyone was just dancing alongside the lanes! The karaoke is also good too. Overall fewer chavs and more class than your average Megabowl but sadly no laser quest...

What a performance and a half- her sultry romp across the stage is quite exhausting to watch, while the continuous striptease is an impressive lesson in the art of layering! Her dark humour, Irish charm and incredible voice makes this a very memorable, outrageous and strangely emotional show. It had me in tears anyway and I have a heart of stone...
