Autechre Announce New Album

Warp's densely experimental duo Autechre announce new album: 'Oversteps'.

Rochdale natives Rob Brown and Sean Booth are Autechre. They will release their tenth album on March 22nd. 'Oversteps' will be released on Warp Records. The pair will then embark on an extensive European tour.

As one of the labels most popular signings, this release will have been anticipated by fans. Their last album 'Quaristice' was released in 2008.

Their layered, wordless music is usually dubbed IDM (intelligent dance music) but Brown and Booth shy away from pigeonholing their sound. Their earlier work has clear influences in techno, electro and hip hop with later albums becoming more experimental. They have been producing music together for over 20 years.

Autechre will play London on April 10th - with the veune and ticket details being announced on February 1st.
