Boomtown Fair announce the most epic of line-ups for their Bassline Circus dance stage.
Alternative and escapist festival Boomtown Fair is pushing boundaries this year with a fresh and heavy line-up headed up by DJ Zinc - the man responsible for the legendary 'Super Sharp Shooter' and Fugees 'Ready Or Not' remix.
Ninja Tune - one of the most landmark labels ever spawned on UK soil - have also linked up with the festival. Their output over the last 20 years has been groundbreaking, always innovative and has undoubtedly shaped British music as we know it. They present one of their most recent signings - Toddla T - with his esteemed collaborator MC Serocee. Also from the Ninja coven is The Bug and Flowdan - the vibrant dubstep and grime collaboration brimming with lyrical fury.
Alpha female of UK garage Ms Dynamite is also on the bill, plus a load of rinsing DJs in the shape of High Rankin, Sheffield mentalists Squire of Gothos, Koan Sound and the McMash Clan.
The Bassline Circus is a new addition to the Boomtown Fair community - and joins brand spanking new areas MayFair Avenue, Old Town and the extended Downtown area.
To use a time worn expression, this is going to be HEAVY.
Boomtown Fair is in a secret location less than an hour from London and occurs on Thursday 11th - Sunday 14th August 2011.
