Deadmau5, Southern Sounds and We Fear Silence - Editor's Choice, Clubbing

Every Friday our editors bring you their personal highlights of the week to come. Lowri Clarke selects her top three club nights.

Saturday 11th June
Deadmau5 Live
The awesome Deadmau5 comes to Vicky Park for a massive one-dayer with a load of other heavily talented music makers to make you smile and leap around. Mark Ronson needs no introduction. Dubstep duo Nero bring some bassy treats and genre-bender Skrillex shows us why everyone has his name on their lips. DnB pioneer DJ Hype adds a necessary slab of old school jungle and Hospital Records Netsky represents the new skool. This will be absolutely massive.

Saturday 11th June
Southern Sounds Festival
This June, the Southern Sounds festival rocks up and pitches its tents on Clapham Common for the first time. As the name suggests, the festival focuses on celebrating the best acts from the southern hemisphere, bringing them together to play under our very own northern sky. Although only in its first year, Southern Sounds has managed to bag itself a hefty headliner, clearly wishing to stake its claim on the ever-increasing festival market. With 25 years under their belt, the mighty INXS take to the stage to headline this year's festival.

Saturday 11th June
We Fear Silence Present RA X
An ambrosial prospect for high-falluting techno aesthetes and sweaty 'floor fiends alike, this is the first in a series of Resident Advisor curated nights entitled RX.  The 'X' denominates a mystery guest. Very Scooby Doo it is too. Now for some superlatives... An exquisite line-up sees Hessle's Ben UFO, probably the UK's most exciting mixmaster, appear alongside techno kaiser Onur Ozer, and minimal's most numerical customer, 19.454.18.5.25.5.18.  Perhaps most excitingly of all, Detroit's Kyle Hall is in town to show Cable why he's the hottest property on the global scene right now. Wear your most comfortable shoes.
