Editor's Choice - Clubbing

26 April, 2010
by: Lowri

Every Monday our editors bring you their personal highlights of the week ahead. Lowri Clarke selects her top three club nights.

Thursday 29 April
Deadfish Family and Friends @ Public Life
For those of you who don't know, Deadfish are a London based house/tech house label created by Italian stallion, Mowgli. As a label, their outlook is all about having a good time and that is totally reflected in their music. With a penchant for tech house, the Deadfish team of inspirational producers including Solo and Mowgli, give the (sometimes stale) genre an injection of energy with their quirky rhythms, squelching leads and choppy vocal cuts.

This event promises a very special guest in celebration of it being Mowgli's birthday. You'll just have to wait until the night to find out who it is but guests in the past have included Sinden and Mixhell.

Trouble Vision Presents Girls Music
@ Coriscia Studios
Everything you could possibly want from a club night under one firmament. Toddla T and Raf Daddy present their Girls Music Label launch with an array of galactic stars from across the urban cosmos - including the brilliant Ms Dynamite.

Bugged Out! Presents Planet Turbo @ Coronet
Crikey. This line-up has me drooling. Tiga - the man behind Turbo and DJ of the highest order - has teamed up with Bugged Out! and is taking his Turbo imprint on a world tour. He has handpicked the team who will be dishing out the beats.

Boys Noize is a force to be reckoned with. His remixes and productions are all, without exception, excellent. He joins Erol Alkan, Trevor Jackson, Matt Walsh, Thomas Von Party and DMX Krew for the UK date at The Coronet tonight.

Two words: Hell yeah.
