And the beat goes on...and on...and on....

One of the great things about extended hours clubbing is the pace change. Gone is the frantic scrabbling to cram the most amount of fun into an eight hour club night. The mad rush of getting ready; applying mascara on the tube and necking drinks in the queue. But tonight, the pre-party drinks can run and run, you can remove your watch.
After the success of their 10th birthday party - where the club was open for 30 hours non-stop - the Fabric team have decided to make a series of it, kicking off this Saturday.
The club will open at 11pm - and not close again until 5am Monday morning. Some of the DJs will be playing multiple sets in different rooms, shape-shifting and moulding their sounds to fit the time of day.
It is certainly enough time for you to return to that special, hypnotic techno trance that four-to-the-floor devotees know so well. Re-imagine yourself, cast aside your memories of the daily grind, forget about life outside the club and think only of the purity of your body on the dancefloor. The line-up will be spread across the three rooms, and looks like this.
Fabric's Saturday night henchmen Craig Richards and Terry Francis will of course be presiding over the affair. These two are consistently brilliant. Craig Richards is Musical Director and has a lot of input into the forward-thinking programming of Fabric's Saturday nights.
"Fabric has always been a late night club" he says. "Many times it's felt the night could go on forever. Many times it has. After the resounding success of our 10th birthday we decided that every once in a while we should go on and on.... On into the next day and into the next night. Sometimes the music won't let you stop, every so often on a Saturday night we intend to let it keep going."
Dave Clarke - techno and electro connoisseur and one of the most established DJs in the business - will be playing. Queen of BPitch Control Ellen Allien, Detroit raised Berlin dweller Seth Troxler, Wagon Repair boss the awesome Konrad Black, NYC house darlings Gadi Mizrahi and Soul Clap (Wolf and Lamb), Sistram Recordings' Patrice Scott, Rekids boss - Brighton/Berlin export Radio Slave.
The list goes on. The DJs are varied and fresh, all of them producing unique, original sounds which will doubtless inspire you at this ambitious club night.
Saturday night party people can come and go as they please after purchasing a wristband. So you could in theory pop home for a shower and a kip and still squeeze in two full sessions with some time to spare.
See you there.
