The infamous rally leaves London today from Pall Mall. Get in on the action.

A skate demo from Tony Hawk, DJ Muggs of Cypress Hill, Xzibit and David Hasselhoff all in one place? Must be the Gumball 3000.

Now entering its 12th year, the Gumball 3000 is an annual 3000 mile international road rally which thunders along a different public route each year. It's not a race - but a fun event for enthusiasts.

This year the route takes in Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Boston, Quebec City and Toronto before rounding off in New York seven long days and nights later. The entry fee is a cool £30 grand. (Or £12 grand if you just want to do the European leg.)

The entry grid in Pall Mall is to be lined with hip hop and rap stars and plenty of excitable drivers. You can watch the start of the rally between 11am and 3pm at Pall Mall on Saturday May 1st 2010.
