Licked Beatz, Earnest Endeavours and Ram Jam: Editor's Choice - Clubbing

Every Friday our editors bring you their personal highlights of the week ahead. Lowri Clarke brings you her top three club nights.

Thursday 24th May
Earnest Endeavours presents Dabrye

Earnest Endeavours bring the hugely influential hip hop producer Dabrye over from the states for the first time in many years.

He's joined by bi-coastal experimental rap/poetry/electronic vanguards Bobby Evans and Jams F Kennedy - aka Widows, Cardiff duo Darkhouse Fam and the indomitable residents Patchwork Pirates and Kutmah. As always, exemplary.

Thursday 24th May
Ram Jam with David Rodiagn

David Rodigan's career spans 40 years. His obsession for reggae and roots has taken him round the world. Tonight is a very special event - kicking off at 8pm with a Red Bull Music Academy style conversation in the club's VIP room hosted by Benji B.

This intimate and FREE event will be followed by a night of explosive bass with gentleman rudeboy Mr Rodigan at the helm. He's joined by UKG first lady Ms Dynamite, live PA from blast from the past Bitty McLean, dubstep hero Caspa bringing the noise, Radio One's Toddla T plus bashment soundboys The Heatwave. Highly recommended.

Friday 25th May
Licked Beatz

Licked Beatz turned two this year, and already they are pulling together line-ups like this one.
Disparate strands of UK bass, dubstep and garage are united in one hell of a club with three rooms open to blow your mind.

Dubstep don Joker always brings the heat, Zed Bias reps on a UKG tip and Marcus Nasty flies the flag for UK funky.
