Thrillingly, Berlin duo Modeselektor are releasing fifth album 'Monkeytown' on October 4th. They then embark on a world tour. The show will be a huge, audiovisual feast with 100% new material. A live show by these guys storms your battlements; they have an absolute disregard for genre rules and pigeon-holing. Loud, intense and rinsing are the buzz words. They will play the European countries until the end of the year followed by Asia and the Americas in 2012.
Snippets of 'Monkeytown' heard so far sound heavy and rude, spliced with the rap of interesting guest vocalists. The style sounds influenced by the slow and low tempos of current bass music strands.
