Old Queen's Head Bank Holiday All Dayer

Old Queen's Head Bank Holiday All Dayer

It's Easter Sunday.... which must mean an all-dayer at the Old Queen's Head.

The pub on Essex Road is one of the most well-known in London. Mixing line-ups which would not be out of place on the posters for some of the city's superclubs with classic London boozer ambience and a down-to-earth approach, The Old Queen's Head has hit upon a winning formula.

Their all-dayers have become infamous. Every Easter and New Year's Day, they throw open their doors to last nights' clubbers and fresh faced ravers alike. There is only one agenda: party.

This Easter Sunday they have persuaded indie breaks innovator Adam Freeland to make the trip over from his new home of LA for the 15 hour marathon Easter bonanza. He joins MJ Cole - Mercury nominated and MOBO's best producer, UK garage star and super hot DJ de jour. Other highlights include CSY - fresh from signing with Kissy Sell Out's label, Greenmoney, Martelo and Joe Ransom.

The vibe is like being at your mate's house party - and they happen to have a killer line-up and fully stocked bar. This is a great Easter Sunday bet. Get down early for maximum dancefloor presence.

The pub opens at midday and the DJs start at 3pm. It finishes at 3am. It's free before 7pm and £5 after.
