Rhythm, Scandal and Soul: Editor's Choice, Clubbing

by: Lowri

Every Friday our editors bring you their personal highlights of the week to come. Lowri Clarke selects her top three club nights.

Friday 17th June
Scandalism

This has been the easiest, most obvious recommend of the week. The line-up is pretty much just a list of great new artists. Alex Metric headlines and support comes from incredible up-and-comers: the hotly tipped live electronica and dubstep act Disclosure, the funky new sounds of Screendeath and L.A's game-changers Classixx. Other exciting names on the bill include Stripes and Night Angles.

Saturday 18th June
Quentin Harris All Night Long
First Timmy Regisford, now another New York legend in Quentin Harris comes to East Village for a full 6 hour takeover of the basement. Since his 'Kiss My Black Ass' nights were such a roaring success East Village have been itching to get him back. Harris is best known for tunes like 'Lets Be Young' and 'You Cant Have New York', and has built up a reputation over the years as being one of the big apple's finest working DJs. This one gets the recommended tag from us.

Saturday 18th June
Rhythmatic present Cavo Paradiso

Rhythmatic bring the heat tonight with two Romanian techno overlords: Rhadoo and Petre Inspirescu to completely rock their secretly located London rave. They are two of the three techno mafia behing ar:pia:r - the guys who have taken Ibiza and now London by storm. Deep, complex body music.
