Richie Hawtin - international techno giant and head of M_Nus - goes on tour under his infamous Plastikman alter ego.

Richie Hawtin - the man behind M_nus Records - the world's best known techno label - is going on tour, reigniting his Plastikman alias.
The Plastikman live show is one where all aspects of the performance - lighting, music, visuals, audience interaction - are controlled by one performer. The show has been 10 years in its development. Hawtin famously requested grimey dubstep producer now know as Plastician to change his name when he began calling himself Plastikman.
Richie Hawtin aka Plastikman says: “I'm incredibly excited to finally take Plastikman on its first standalone tour. These dates will represent the last opportunities for fans to catch Plastikman Live in its current form: the 1.5 version of the show we've spent nearly a year of fine-tuning. After that, Plastikman will be returning to the shadows to begin work on a brand new 2.0 concept. The fall tour will be full of surprises, and the performance will continue to be spontaneous and unique for every show – the way I believe live music should be performed in 2011.”
Support on the UK leg of the tour will come from Magda and Ambivalent.
