Friday 13th May
Short Circuit presents MUTE
Short Circuit Electronic Music Festival returns with two days at The Roundhouse hosted by influential label Mute. The festival features talks, films, installations and of course live and DJ performances. Tonight, king of M_Nus Richie Hawtin and Moby headline. There's live shows from key German electronic music figures Pole, T Raumschmiere, Thomas Fehlmann and Thomas Brinkmann, plus a rare live performance from from Recoil, Nitzer Ebb, Mute founder Daniel Miller on the decks and many more.
Saturday 14th May
Lasermagnetic Disco Convention
London's disco and house fans need look no further tonight than this stellar line-up of global disco dons. London's Lasermagnetic host Chicago DJ Zernell Gillie, who cut his teeth at the legendary Music Box, while downstairs is hosted by uber-cool bloggers and DJs of the moment The Boogie Cartel, fresh from supporting Greg Wilson on Easter Weekend. As this is a global convention, there's also Italo-Italians and Vienna's Campari Safari flying in for the night.
Saturday 14th May
Vintage House Foundation with Timmy Regisford
Timmy Regisford - New York legend - drops six hours of his banging house tracks from the last 25 years. Whether or not you were alive that far back, you'll be transported to a better time. East Village's lounge will also be appropriately decked out by Phil Asher, Stuart Patterson, Ronnie Turner and Shaun Samuel who'll be spinning out disco, soul and boogie roots of house jams.
