Soltek 1st Birthday

One year on, and with a string of bumper parties that have featured heavyweights such as Commix, Nu:Tone and Cluekid, Soltek kick off the summer with their 1st Birthday bash and a new residency at The CAMP. Bringing the jelly and ice cream will be Bristolian dubstep don Phaeleh, drum n bass extraodinaire Joe Syntax and plenty more, all getting the floor hyped until 4am.

Friday 8th July
Snap Crackle and Pop
The Nest continue to bring the heat with yet another free party which is mouth-wateringly fresh. Dirtybird recruit and all-round hot-shot Julio Bashmore is heading this one up for Snap Crackle and Pop. His productions have seen this young producer go all the way - seeing him in this intimate venue will be unmissable.Midland joins the Snap crew to complete the bill.

Saturday 8th July
100 Acts in One Day

To raise money for three worthy charities, and to honour their centenary, Upstairs at the Ritzy will be attempting to break a world record by having 100 acts play in one day. There will be musicians, comedians, performers, dancers and every other sort of creative individual you can imagine, all doing their bit for this epic event. There will be a BBQ going on all day and night, arts and crafts for the little ones, MC's and freestylers will tackle the mic, DJs will spin records and they will attempt to have 28 comedians perform in 28 minutes. It's going to be an extra special, full-on day and night. Highlights include poetry from the Poejazzi Crew, comedy from Nina Conti and Sara Pascoe, the Heartless Crew, Levi Roots and Trol23 on the wheels of steel.
