Soltek, Staunch and Ecstasy: Editor's Choice - Clubbing

17 February, 2012
by: Lowri

Every Friday our editors bring you their personal highlights of the week ahead. Lowri Clarke selects her top three club nights.

Friday 24th
Soltek
Soltek smash it tonight with A1 Bassline at the helm. His massive sound has caught the attention of Claude VonStroke's Dirtybird imprint - expect him to do real damage to the CAMP dancefloor. He's joined by Hotflush's very own Arkist, with support from re4sidents Medlam and Daffadam.

Friday 24th February
Staunch
Excellent stuff from Staunch: Artwork playing a classic techno set, Boddika playing whatever the hell he likes and klose One taking his usual rough handfuls of bashment, bassline, electro, breaks and dubstep.

Lovely job.

Saturday 25th February
Ecstacy, Passion and Pain
We're so excited about this one we can't begin to tell you. Some of the finest disco, nu-disco and electro DJs and producers in the world packed into the 1300 capacity Scala for an all-night throwdown - yes please. It's been billed as "the biggest disco night London has ever seen", and with the likes of Mylo, Aeroplane and Lindstrom on show, we're inclined to believe them.

As well as the titans in the main room, we reckon the third room takeover by The Boogie Cartel, who put on some of the best most intense disco parties of 2011, is definitely worth seeing. Guaranteed shapes being thrown.
