"I'm like a shark, if I stop grooving I'll die." We see what Tiga's got to say about his upcoming tour.

Tiga is a force to be reckoned with. The Canadian producer is famed for his biting, techy style and his increible remix skills. The Prodigy, Miike Snow, Depeche Mode and Scissor Sisters have all recieved the Tiga treatment. He is taking his Turbo imprint on tour, on a world tour no less, with a handpicked team of DJ mercinaries, a "lovable gang of huggable misfits", primed to lash the living daylights out of you with their audio bullets. This is going to be HUGE.

The London leg of the tour touches down at The Coronet. Joining Tiga on May 1st will be the incomparable Boys Noize, fellow Canadian Thomas Von Party, Trevor Jackson, DMX Krew and Erol Alkan. The tour will span much of Europe, America and Australia and is being produced by Swedish director Andreas Nilsson. He's done stage work with The Knife and Fever Ray as well as directing videos for MGMT, Royksopp and Peter Bjorn.

"We dreamt up the concept by the ecologically sustainable fireplace at Turbo Headquarters, located deep in the Mountains of Montreal," says Tiga. "The tour is something of a Victory Lap celebrating its own inevitable triumph. We've run the numbers, and we've talked to people from Main Street to Sweat Boulevard. We know what our party people want, and they're going to get it - so good."

"In terms of talent, Planet Turbo is a perfect storm. Like that movie where the fisherman invites his wife over for a big fish dinner and there’s a romantic storm outside and he puts on the Hi-Fi and the feeling’s so right and they make love for the remainder of the film. This tour will capture the feeling of that fisherman having his way with you."
