Tribe, Warm and Earnest Endeavours: Editor's Choice - Clubbing

02 December, 2011
by: Lowri

Every Friday our editors bring you their personal highlights of the week ahead. Lowri Clarke selects her top three club nights.

Wednesday 7th December

Earnest Endeavours
Earnest Endeavours and Black Atlantic bring the young MPC prodigy Araabmuzik in to town tonight. He's been drumming since he was three. Making beats since he was 10. From 15 he's been producing for the likes of Ludacris, Busta, Eminem and 50 Cent.

More recently he's been touring with Lunice whilst smashing out the studio with ASAP Rocky, remixing The Big Pink and drafting in Danny Brown, whilst at the same time freaking out Busta Rhymes. The boy's got skills.

Saturday 10th December
Tribe Present Never Say Die and Circus
Oooof. Tribe launches at Electric Brixton - the best new club in London. (It's the old Fridge in case you hadn't heard.) Never Say Die and Circus - two dubstep powerhouses - unite to bring you one helluva line-up. From the Never Say Die Camp comes Foreign Beggars - the rap/production outfit who've recently collaborated with Skrillex, Noisia and more are playing live tonight.

And in a 'Battle of the Bosses' showdown, Circus records' Flux Pavilion and Never Say Die's SKisM go back to back - following the release of their collaborative single 'Jump Back' (with Foreign Beggars) - they have something very special lined up. Urban Nerds boys Rattus Rattus and Klose One are also coming out to play. And there are visuals by Fade In Fade Out. This will BANG.

Saturday 10th December
Warm Presents Hessle Audio
No record label has been more vital to dubsteps' continuing evolution than Hessle Audio. Founded in 2007 by David Kennedy (Pearson Sound), Ben Thomson (Ben UFO) and Kevin McAuley (Pangaea) it quickly became a benchmark for quality, debuting artists like Cosmin TRG, Untold and Blawan.

The three founding members unite tonight under one roof - each bringing their own unique style to the tables. This will be compelling.
