Dancefloor Bombs

The DJ desk once again furnishes you with our pick of the tunes that are likely to be tearing up dancefloors around the capital this weekend.

Tom picks: Bang On! - Hands High - Big Dada 2010

Exciting stuff coming out of Toxteth in the shape of Big Dada's latest signing - Bang On!

He first blipped on the radar a couple of years back with his 'Scally Thugs' freestyle over Rusko's 'Cockney Thug'. Here he rides a dubstep rhythm by fellow scouser Dixie.

Bang On! by name Bang On! by nature.

Lachie picks: Rusko - Hold On feat. Amber Coffman (Sub Focus Remix) - Mad Decent 2010

Sub Focus' remix of Rusko's 'Hold On' has been smashing up clubs for a while now. He's taken the cheesiness of the original and turned it into pure half-time dnb filth. Ironically it sounds like Rusko might have a couple of years ago but at dnb speed, the moments of calm sooth the senses and build until dropping into speaker bursting grit.

Chloe picks: ZZT - ZZAfika - Turbo Recordings 2010

I've gone in for the kill this week. ZZT is the collaboration of Zombie Nation and Tiga, and with ZZafrica, they have created a proper ballsy electro house track. It has a crunching bassline and an intense, raw energy to it that makes you want to stomp your ass off. Get involved.
