Dancefloor Bombs

The clubbing desk's favourite dancefloor destroyers this week.

Tom picks: Lewi White feat. Kozzie - Metalface (Ministry of Sound 2010)

Super aggressive grime assault from Kozzie over a dubstep banger from personal fave Lewi White. The weird thing is I first heard this on the Ministry Adventures in dubstep and Beyond Compilation which I have to admit i thought was going to be wack but is in fact REALLY good.
Whilst many grime MCs seem to be making some really bad pop now, Roll Deep I'm looking at you, Kozzie is keeping it really nasty. Music to scare grannies with.

Chloe picks: Bowski - Leggings (Blood Music 2010)

Recent signing to Fake Blood's new label Blood Music is Bowski, and this is his latest track, curiously entitled leggings. Made up from meaty kick drum beats and a persistant over- riding ring tone type sound... its something that'll creep into your consciousness in a dark room somewhere, and rumble the speaker something chronic. It'll slot nicely into many a set over the next few weeks.

Lachie picks: Brookes Brothers - Last Night (Breakbeat Kaos 2010)

Two years in the coming (since it was first dropped on Fabio's show), 'Last Night' is up to the Brookes Brothers usual high standard. With only 10 releases in the last 5 years, and each one being a huge hit, you wonder what exactly they have been doing with their obvious talent. But hey, if they occasionally release bouncy gems like this then I'm not complaining!
