Dancefloor Bombs

Our clubbing desk pick the tunes they feel you're likely to be throwing shapes to this weekend.

Tom picks: Durrty Goodz - Oi What Looking At?

I've always been a big Durrty Goodz fan. He's able to kill any type of beat in a multitude of different MCing styles. His double time flow is amongst the best in the business. In fact I'd say that in terms of UK spitters he's easily in the top 3. So no surprise that when his single turned up this week I was very excited to see what he's coming with in 2011. Once again he doesn't disappoint. This is a sub heavy beast which he smashes from start to finish. I cannot wait to hear the album.

Low picks: Siriusmo - Wow (Modeselektor edit) (Monkey Town 2010)

I know mine isn't that new but I've been in the wilds of South America for the last 6 months so I'm maybe a little out of touch. Doesn't matter though, because I can guarantee this is still smashing up a dancefloor somewhere right this very moment. 'Wow' really is the best word to describe this catchy number.

Alya picks: Lil Wayne - 6''7  (Cash Money Records 2011)

Lil Wayne’s first single from his upcoming album ‘Carter IV’, his first since he was incarcerated late last year is ultimately ‘A Milli’ on steroids. As a result the only way you won’t be jumping along to this in the middle of the dance floor is if you are deaf, or in a wheelchair.

Netti picks: Mele - I Swear Down

New kid about town, 18 year old Mele, aka Krissy Peers conjures party fuel I Swear Down. This beat is a cocktail of crack house grime and garage. Ignited by a funky rhythm and wound up by nagging garage vocals until you're slammed by its filthy bassline, turbo charged with screw face power. Get your britney spears around this, the weekend is here.
