Once again the clubbing team are here to provide some dancefloor ammo for the weekend ahead.

Lowri picks: Love and Light - KisseS
KisseS by Love and Light
Love and Light are just simply a couple of seriously dope producers. I hate to use words like 'dope' and 'sick' with reference to dance music. But their class of super-slick Californian silk; rippling with bass, twinkling with intricate rhythms, at both times really stepped up and rude yet letting in the sunlight; is both of those things. Satisfyingly heavy and dosed with a good measure of glitch typical of their locale: they inspire such urban cliches.

I cant get enough of them. Whenever they're on I'm smiling. This is their latest work of art. Mid tempo bass, lush bounces; this tempo is being flexed by Freddy Todd and it really makes you move. Also check out their Crunk Junkee EP for some gorgeous West Coast crispness. Dope and sick.

Alex picks: Dominic Eulberg - Die 3 Millionen Musketiere - Traum
Dominik Eulberg - die 3 millionen musketiere by beyeah
My German’s pretty shonky. If the truth be told, I’m actually more of a Romance linguist. But I’m fairly sure “Die 3 Millionen Musketiere” means ‘three million musketeers’. Or perhaps I should say mousquetaires. When I listen to this, my favourite track on Diorama, the fourth album by German IDM producer Dominic Eulberg, Gaia theorist and part-time forest ranger, I picture a million Amos, Porthos and Aramis (Amii, Porthii and Aramises?) exultant on horseback, galloping through a leafy dale like Link in the N64 game Zelda: The Ocarina of Time, with bells attached to their every aperture chiming in time to an insatiable beepop electro beat that holds their head-nodding steeds transfixed in surging momentum. Equestrian it may be, but this is decidedly not one for the Polo field. Check out the incredible accompanying video too, particularly if you’re a fan of ants and their interesting behaviour.

Frank picks: Myriadd - “Beyond this life” - [Creme Jak] CRJAKX06

A jacking house release, from a mysterious UK producer, is the latest outing for Clone's JAK series. Another collection of tracks that channel the musical embodiment of Chicago – throbbing bass-lines, short, sharp 303 modulations and that crisp 707 percussion - through contemporary production techniques.

The opening track 'Beyond This Life' sets the tone, with gold flecked pads that fall from deep space acting as the canvas on which this track is painted, all the other parts falling into line to create a complete picture of interesting, deep house which exudes warmth and vibrancy. 'A Hazy Memory' takes us on a minor departure from 'Beyond', dropping you straight into a reverb drenched dance-floor, where your only concern is the mind altering acid attack that appears to be slowly emerging from a track packed with the lifeblood of proper house.

Likewise 'Keep On Searching' and 'The Outer Limits' continue the theme of tracks you could hear both on the dance-floor and in the bedroom, marrying the elements that keep a club moving with those that keep music enthusiasts interested. The result is a record that is every inch Chicago '89 as it is London 2011.
