Mario Basanov feat. Miss Bee - Just Think About (Social Disco Club & Mirror People Remix) [Under The Shade] by Social Disco Club
Social Disco Club are house music's equivalent of Gok Wan. They take your average run-of-the-mill house track, stand it in front of a mirror, let it cry for a bit, tell it it's got nothing to be ashamed of before transforming it into a seductive temptress who has dancefloors eating out of the palm of its hand. This Mario Bassanov cut released on the brilliant 'Under the Shade' records next month is a fine example. You go girl.

Laurel Halo: "Constant Index" by alteredzones
This week’s most played on the dance floor (in my mind) comes from Michigan’s electronic new blood Laurel Halo. Constant Index off of her ‘Hour Logic’ EP is atmospheric soundscapery with backbone, or rather, backbeat.
In between the reverberating clatter of each thunderous snare hit, Laurel’s multipart choral harmonies swell to become tribal chant. Synth pads drone out pensive chords and echoing chimes over the thumping palpitations of a deep kick. This has a crucial dose of caffeine that other, sleepier ambient music often goes without.
Dennis Ferrer never fails to deliver when as he graces the world with a soulful house music sensation and 'Killing me' (original mix ft Sandy Spandy), is no different. This remix by Frank Chianese is a real banger: the guy clearly has a passion for the soul vibes.
The cello from the start to finish unleashes a different tone to the original and works well with the vocals. Frank's style takes a modern classic approach to house music and manages to merge soulful, deep and classical music all into one eclectic master piece.
