Dancefloor Bombs

Boom! Baff! Ping! Pow! It's the weekend, it's dancefloor bombs time!

Tom picks:

Marshall Jefferson - Move Your Body (Terry Farely & Leo Zero remix)

So good they make it sound easy. Marshall Jefferson's original Chicago anthem gets a shiny new remix courtesy of UK house legends Terry Farley and Leo Zero, who take the iconic vocal hooks from the original and stick it in a dingy smoke filled warehouse rave to create 7:22 of pure party. By force of habit I'm starting to sweat profusely and reach for the lasers as I type. What time is it? I'm going out.

Ebony picks:

Sadiq Bello-Giddy Gosh

Another floor filler! The repetition of ‘Oh my giddy, giddy gosh’ travels through our mind. vibrating in the membrane, all the way down to the soles of the feet. Bongo drums, electronic beats and the fusion of synth with UK rap creates this soulful, electro-pop, club banger set to destroy the decks with its’ deep penetrative bass line.

Sadiq Bello knows how to create catchy, head bopping, tracks enabling the clubber to sing along, whilst working out whether to stand in awe of the creatively produced sound or shake with shamelessness in the middle of the dance floor. Either way it’s a bomb.

Johny picks:

Kreayshawn – Gucci Gucci

Don't even get me started on how this song suffers from the Marmite effect, because everything in life basically suffers from it. Anyway, this track was “mad big” a few months back and I doubt it's still as loved as it first was today. But it's still a certified club banger. You'd probably hear it played at Southern Hospitality or Diverge nights and then seeing everyone get off their arses and singing along to the chorus, I know I (possibly) would.
