Lowri picks: Porter Robinson - 100% In The Bitch (Downlink Remix) Porter Robinson - 100% In The Bitch (Downlink Remix) by Porter Robinson

Uh-oh. Totally gratuitous dancefloor bomb coming up. My guilty pleasure is big, American laughably heavy bass music - al la Skrillex - and now his young protege Porter Robinson has got involved. I have an unhealthy propensity for the most high octane music imaginable. The kind that makes you feel like you're about to have a heart attack - in a good way. Cheesy maybe, but bloody hell does it make the dancefloor explode. The original is also massive – with the rolling military drum pattern and overtures of sexism, (which I also weirdly appreciate, despite being a feminist.) Friday written all over it.

Tom picks: Tomson & Benedict ft Bantu Soul - Blind Tomson & Benedict ft. Bantu Soul - Blind by Tomson

Having grown up with the likes of Joey Negro, Blaze and the whole New Jersey sound (on my Sony discman I might add - not in actual real life), I'm pretty happy to see some quality soulful house back on dancefloors. This collaboration between Brit producers Tomson & Benedict and South African Bantu Soul is just plain fierce, with the final drop at 4 minutes taking me back to Milk & Two Sugars parties at The End. Long live soulful.

Emma picks: Man Friday - Love Honey (Leftside Wobble Edit) Man Friday - Love Honey (Leftside Wobble Edit) by Leftside Wobble

I first discovered Leftside Wobble about a year ago through his edit of Idris Muhammed's beautiful disco track 'Could Heaven Ever Be Like This' and quickly found plenty more where that came from. He's edited and remixed for loads of different artists from Gladys Knight to The Beatles, with a clear passion for disco and funk. This month he released an edit of Man Friday’s ‘Love Honey, Love Heartache’ an old Larry Levan classic from 1986 and rather like his Idris Muhammed edit, it hasn't veered too far from the original, maintaining the track's groovy bass line and ramping up the electro funk elements. More of a dancefloor firecracker than a bomb, it will warm you up plenty.
