It's Friday.

Lowri picks: Opiou - Monkey Crunk (Ill Gates and Samples remix) Opiuo - monkey crunk (ill gates & samples remix) by bensamples

To paraphrase the comments in soundcloud, this is variously 'the dopest dope I ever smoked', '***ing sick', 'ridculously sick', 'Massive Dirty Wobble Grind Jungle Dub Movements' and lastly, my favourite 'Caution: Neckbrace may be needed.'

Three of the major glitch players combine over the Monkey Crunk, a slab of 80bpm seriousness which paints a world where howler monekys swing from the lazers in the swagged out, amen broken jungle. Hell. Yeah.

Tom picks: Nina Kraviz - Ghetto Kraviz NINA KRAVIZ - GHETTO KRAVIZ by rekids

It's International Women's Day next week, so what better way to celebrate than with one of the finest female talents in house music, Nina Kraviz. With Maya Jane Coles on the road to world domination and Paris Hilton releasing a house tune (yes, really), it seems girl power is less about platform heels and shouting at a camera these days as laying down clinical beats and basslines. Nina has always been Queen of the understated, and this track from her new self titled album is just that – simple but brilliantly effective.

Emma picks: Dimitri from Paris - My Donna My Donna - Into The Grove Dimitri From Paris Re-Edit by Dimitri from Paris

You can't go wrong with a bit of early Madge and you can't go wrong with Dimitri from Paris either. A re-edit of Shep Pettibone's 1987 Into the Groove remix, here the disco maestro gives it a respectful touch-up, paying tribute to the snare drums and the piano solo while upping the tempo to make it more dancefloor friendly. Dimitri befittingly classes this as an old school 'wedding essential' in SoundCloud and I wouldn't disagree. Have your puffed sleeves and ruffled shirts at the ready and prepare for some serious boogying. It's mega.
