We like to move it move it.

Lowri picks: Salva - Yellobone

Salva - Yellobone by RBMA Premieres

Salva is Frite Nite head honcho and an incredibly clever LA-based prodcuer. His new EP is a mixed bag of synth-laden groove snacks, weaving in sleazy RnB with the bass and beats.

The title track is a gorgeous, building, clicking wave, working in classic house - which is not exactly Salva's usual style. The result is a house track that's slightly off-centre, interesting and just great. Every bar is reimagined, always curving back to the ghostly sample..."I wanna love you....". Hypnotic.

Tom picks: Omar S - Wayne County Hill Cops

This track instantly reminds me of one thing. We know them as 'Will o-the-Wisps', flashing lights which appear over the surface of marshes or bogs, and said to be fairy-like creatures in folklore. Travellers have seen them across the world for centuries, only visible in total darkness.

Flashes of sharp synthesizer dance playfully across a deep, murky beat – bright colours jet out, sparks of green and blue appear, disappear and reappear somewhere else. It's beautiful to watch, and equally as beautiful to hear. This is seven minutes to lose yourself in.

Emma picks: Bullion - Say Arr Ee

Bullion - Say Arr Ee by bullionness

Bullion is one of those producers you just can't pigeonhole. From mashing up J Dilla and the Beach Boys to the collage of genres he wove together in his 21 minute 'non-LP' 'You Drive me to Plastic', his experimental style and eclectic range means every new release is, if nothing else, interesting.

Not surprisingly for a guy with taste this diverse, some of it will leave you thinking "This isn't my cup of tea". 'Say Arr Ee' is probably his most dancefloor friendly number yet, with a kind of psychedelic, percussive house sound, featuring his own vocals (a trippy "say arrrr eeeeeee" noise) and a weird but funky-as-hell saxophone. If this record was a cup tea it would be a strong English Breakfast with one sugar.
