Get down.

Tom picks: Sir Own - Hooked (Kon's Nite Time remix)
Sir Own - Hooked (Kon’s Nite Time Remix) by Basic Fingers

What a great job of a remix. Superb. The added brass, lightweight percussion and breezy guitar flicks somehow manage to turn Cerrone's power-disco anthem into a laid back summer groover.. Jocelyn Brown's vocals sound, I dare say, delicate - the only time I've ever been able to describe them as such.

If the sun does decide to appear over the course of the weekend (which is looking unlikely at the moment), this will go from great to magical. Otherwise I'm sure it'll get a hammering across the Mediterranian this summer, and rightfully so.

Lowri picks: TNGHT - Unknown (Mirrors remix) TNGHT (HudMoXLunice) - Unknown (Mirrors Remix) by Mirrors

This combines the talents of Hudson Mohawke and Lunice via their new collaboration TNGHT - and is re-rubbed by the guy with the insatiable thirst for rolling out bangers - Mirrors.  Bounce, grime, trap - whatever you dub this weighty, throwed bit of bass, it's got class, clout and depth - albeit in a really ghetto way.

Lowri picks: Zero - Yeah Yeah Yeahs (Erol Alkan extended rework) Zero (Erol Alkan's Extended Rework) - Yeah Yeah Yeahs by Erol Alkan

This sounds like an entire electro orchestra and full band crashing around you, working you up into a club sweat. Erol Alkan does this brand of big club banger so well - and here - reimagining the incrdible Zero - he takes you up and up and up.

Three words for you. FOUR DAYS OFF.
