Starkey brings the noise, especially for YOU.

Starkey - Philly badman and bass-wielding super-producer - has done an exclusive 50 minute mix for Spoonfed.
The Philadelphia-based producer - aka PJ Geissinger - has made quite an impact since hitting the scene in 2005, releasing with the likes of Werk Discs, Ruff, Ninja Tune and, most prominently, Planet Mu, for whom he dropped a genre-bending debut album in 2008.
His sound is hard but intelligent, layered with grimey hip hop influences and crunky colours. 'Street bass' is the the most accurate description, hard-edged but spaced out.
He is playing at Audio Doughnuts - a night at Hidden this June with a line-up to die for. It ticks so many boxes - you've got Jehst the dope MC, Starkey the bass-crunch badman, Leeds native the simply excellent Eliphino, masked drum machine mentalism from Drums of Death plus Om Unit, Micachu, FunkyStepz and many more.
Starkey is playing at Audio Doughnuts as part of the Found series at Hidden on June 22nd.
