Circus, Bollywood and Rigor Mortis: Editor's Choice - Theatre

09 December, 2011
by: Naima Khan

Every Friday our editors bring you their personal highlights of the week ahead. Naima Khan selects her top three plays

From 15th December
Circus Bites Back @ The Albany
Vicki Amendume of Upswing is nothing short of inspiring and Circus Bites Back is a showcase of circus talents curated by the woman herself.  There'll be aerial dynamism and acrobatics from the likes of Leo & Yam, Ddogy Whiskers, Long Spoon Circus and others.

From 12th December
The Bollywood Trip @ Queen Elizabeth Hall
A psychiatrist in love is treating a guy who thinks he's a Bollywood star in this absurd musical comedy at Southbank Centre. Go see it, have fun and remember not to use the phrase 'East meets West'.

From 13th December
Rigor Mortis @ Finborough Theatre
The PapaTango New Writing Festival continues, now in its penultimate week. Along with its headliner, the chilling Foxfinder, this weeks play is Rigor Mortis by Carol Vine starring the always impressive Rupert Simonian.
