Editor's Choice - Theatre

06 August, 2010
by: Naima Khan

Every Monday our editors bring you their personal highlights of the week ahead. Naima Khan selects her top three plays.

Beef Encounter @ The Roundhouse

From 9th August
Subs @ Cock Tavern Theatre
This sparky office comedy has proved so popular it's had its run extended. If you've ever worked with a deluded boss or a brown-noser you'll enjoy this.

From 14th August
Beef Encounter @ Roundhouse Fringe
There's loads on at Camden Fringe this year but I'd make special efforts to see this one woman show by Claire Caroll which promises to be funny, heart warming and poetic.

From 15th August
In The Blood @ Finborough Theatre
An urban-American re-imagining of Nathaniel Hawthorn's The Scarlet Letter. I know how it sounds but Finborough have such a great track record for showcasing excellent fringe shows that this story of a destitute mother and her efforts to secure a life for her family sounds well worth your time.
