Fat Girls, Hell and Horses - Editor's Choice - Theatre

by: Naima Khan

Every Friday our editors bring you their personal highlights of the week ahead. Naima Khan selects her top three plays.

And the Horse You Rode In On @ The Barbican
Not only can they pick great names for theatre companies but Told by An Idiot (co-founded by Hayley Carmichael, Paul Hunter and John Wright) consistently produce great, engaging and challenging theatre. And The Horse You Rode In On looks at the lengths people will go to for their beliefs.

Chekhov in Hell
@ Soho Theatre
We rather love Dan Reballato. He's not just a great playwright whose worked in collaboration on great projects like Beachy Head but he's a damn good tweeter. Chekhov's hell it turns out, is London today.

The Fat Girl Gets A Haircut and Other Stories @ The Roundhouse
Another great theatre person in London at the moment is storyteller Mark Storor. His collection of funny, oddball stories is told through thoughtful characters and addresses those awkward teenage years.
