From 21st February
GOD/HEAD @ Ovalhouse Theatre
In a week full of openings including David Eldridge's In Basildon, Zach Braff's All New People, Edward Bond's Bingo at the Young Vic starring Patrick Stewart, Hay Fever and 'Tis Pity She's A Whore, make time for the fantastic Chris Goode and his take on life and rationality as he explores a different kind of crisis of faith.
From 24th February
The Oh Fuck Moment @ Soho Theatre
Hannah Walker and Chris Thorpe explore the poetry in human fallibility in their warm, welcoming show about the moments of absent-mindedness that can lead to our own minor catastrophes.
From 22nd February
Purge @ Arcola Theatre
Sofi Oksanen's play follows two women of different generations living with the legacy of the Soviet occupation of Estonia. Aliide and Zara have both suffered abuse and in turn become violent themselves. Their stories are divergent but ultimately a universal struggle with the abuse of power and its effect on human beings. Tricky to translate, this unsettling play will get right under your skin.
