From Tuesday 24th May
One Act Festival @ Lost Theatre
I am gutted my timetable means I'm probably going to miss the One-Act Festival. It's a 5 day, showcase of one-act plays by new and established writers. There are three short shows on each day, all risky, all well worth seeing.
From Wednesday 25th May
Little Baby Jesus @ Oval House Theatre
Three coming of age stories by the brilliant, often lyrical writer Arinze Kene. His play Estate Walls was one of the best new scripts to come out of London last year and it won him the Best Playwright Award at the 2011 Off West End Awards.
From Thursday 26th May
Epic @ Soho theatre
A collage of personal and global history is brought to Soho Theatre via performance artists Chloe Dechery, Lucy Foster, Ed Rapley and Pedro Ines. Their attempts to connect to their heritage and do something with their legacy result in a compelling collection of interviews, films and re-enactments. Click here to read my interview with Chloe.
