Trouble Vision 2nd Birthday

Trouble Vision 2nd Birthday

Trouble Vision are about to celebrate their 2nd birthday. Nuria Haering tells us what we're in store for.

You couldn't ask for a better line-up for Trouble Vision's 2nd Birthday Bonanza taking place on 22nd October at Corsica Studios in Elephant and Castle. The ever-popular night specialising in bass-laden rhythms and broken beats is dishing up sets from some ridiculously talented newcomers and veterans alike.

Garage pioneers MJ Cole and Zed Bias are teaming up for a "history of garage" back-to-back set, which will no doubt include their respective anthems, 'Sincere' and 'Neighbourhood' (both a decade old, incredibly). High-profile DJ Zinc will peddle some crackin' bass-heavy house while Hotflush favourites Scuba and Sigha deliver ambient dubstep. Scuba in particular has gone from being a virtual unknown to supporting at hugely popular nights such as Eastern Electrics. The lesser-known but equally talented Sigha is no doubt on his way to achieving a similar status.

The increasingly ubiquitous SBTRKT is also on the bill and will be sure to get the crowd going with some spliced-up sounds. This is another guy who's gone from playing sets to small crowds of loyal music geeks barely a year ago, to remixing artists like Tinie Tempah, M.I.A. and Modeselektor. Rounding up the night are Trouble Vision residents Hesseltime, Park Ranger, Mr Solid Gold and The Boogaloo Crew, among others.

Early bird tickets for the night may be sold out, but £10 ones are still available. Get yours now!
