Laidback Luke's Super You & Me Moved to Indigo2

Laidback Luke's super night, originally scheduled for Matter, changes venue to Indigo2.

What with the sudden unexpected closure of Matter "for the summer months", there'll inevitably be a vast amount of unhappy people who were looking forward to some of their upcoming events. Well if one of those nights was Laidback Luke's Super You & Me Party then all is not lost as the shindig has found a new venue, not so far away, at Indigo2, 100 metres away from the redundant Matter itself.

Indigo2 may not have the same world-renowned sound system as the closed superclub that has melted faces over the past two years, but with its own hefty JBL Vertec soundsystem, it's certainly a good compromise. In a statement made by Laidback Luke himself, he revealed the thinking behind the venue swap, explaining that, "after we received word of the problems at Matter we knew we had to act quickly." Having already sold 1200 presale tickets for the event, "I did not want to disappoint all the people that have made Super You & Me such a fantastic party in the first place."

Determined not to be put out by the recent announcement made by the Matter owners, Luke urges all his fans and attendees of the upcoming show to don their favourite superhero outfits: "the more creative and crazy the better". With the same fantastic original line-up still intact and a room full of superheroes, from Flash Gordon to everyone's favourite lesser known superhero, Burnt Face Man, there's nothing stopping this night from being every bit as good as it could have been in its initial venue.

Also changing venue due to Matter's closure is the Kinky Malinki night taking place on the 12th of June. This hugely popular event will now take place at That Club and has had to make some minor changes to the line up but will still be headlined by the 'Riverside' producer, Sidney Samsom.
