Rob McCallum

Film taste: Gus Van Sant, Buffalo '66, Jim Jarmusch, The Life Aquatic, The Trial is also compulsory viewing.

Music taste: Favourites change every day but 60's psych (Byrds/Seeds), Spacemen 3, Spiritualized, Sonic Boom, Spectrum, Hawkwind LIVE, The Velvet Underground, Alexander Tucker, Mountains, Caribou, Excepter, Wooden Shjips, Panda Bear . . .

Hangout: Sunny day = London Fields, Rainy day = The Dove. You can often find me with a pint of Old Rosie at the Wellington or eating at The Stingray Globe Cafe, quite possibly London's best kept Italian secret.

Most likes (about London): The amount of culture there is to soak up, right on your doorstep. The fact that there's never nothing to do. London being like twenty mini cities all in one city.

Least likes: People on the public transport system. The fact that the London Underground doesn't seem to run to earth minutes.

Me in 10 words: Usually has something to say about music or being hungry.

event Spectrum Wednesday, 17 March
Following the incredible War Sucks EP released last year, the man behind Sonic Boom promises a sublime intimate performance of music that can take the roof of a venue four times the size of the Luminaire. With secret "very special guests" alongside drone-folkers Hush Arbor, this one promises to be one to remember.
artist Wooden Shjips Wednesday, 17 March
Saw Wooden Shjips at the Green Man festival last year and they were phenomenal. This one should be pretty special supported by the legends that are the heads whilst marking the release of the Shjips new record of previously unreleased material, Vol. ii.
