Bad Saturday London - 3 April 2010

08 March, 2010
by: Sofigod

We thought we would rename the day after Good Friday, Bad Saturday. Our ingenious reasons are as follows: if you, in anticipation of the Easter weekend, pushed the boat out a bit far on Good Friday or if today is the day for either reckless amusement or a repetition of the previous evening, Spoonfed has catered to your every need, from peaceful entertainment to beery merriment.

Bad Bunny

Who doesn’t love the '80s? 'Well if you really don’t then this isn’t the night for you. From 10.30pm the Jazz Cafe in Camden will deliver all the top tunes and tributes from that shoulder-padded decade.

The matinee performance of Tennessee Williams’ Cat on a Hot Tin Roof is a very worthwhile way to spend the Bad Saturday afternoon.

For a personnel-free evening, Barnes will be hosting its regular live jazz night at After Office Hours. Good tapas, a speakeasy vibe and live music would be a quality way to spend Bad Saturday.

Camden’s king club, Koko will have the Crookers, Italian DJs Phra and Bot, headlining its Saturday night slot playing their trademark eclectic mix of electro genres.

The opportunity to don your best Easter bunny suit (well ears mostly) comes in the form of the Playboy Manor party at Strawberry Moons. Guys must slip into dressing gown and convincing swagger for the event.
