Spoonfed's guide to the best events on Easter Bank Holiday Monday 2011.

Let the Bank Holidays of 2011 commence! And what better way to mark 2011’s first of many three-day weekends than to let Spoonfed steer you in the direction of Bank Holiday Easter Monday fun.
Bronte @ Tricycle Theatre
Some Easter-time tales of the sisters (and brother) Bronte at the Tricycle Theatre. In 1845 Branwell Bronte, brother of the soon to be famous sisters, returns home with alcohol and drug addictions and a sexual misdemeanour to his name. While he spirals downwards, his sisters keep on writing, but their fictional characters come back to haunt them.
Enchanted Palace @ Kensington Palace
Genuinely one of the most memorable exhibitions we've ever been to. It's been on for a while now, but Bank Holiday Monday is as good a time as any to take a look if you haven't already. Be prepared for all manner of wonders – from flying origami dresses to stuffed foxes, toy soldiers and forests filled with mirrors. Utterly magical.
Old Rope @ The Phoenix
Comedienne Tiffany Stevenson hosts this weekly Monday night comedy show. Old Rope (we rate it one of our Best London Comedy Clubs) gets its name from the noose that hangs above the stage which the comedians hold onto while performing new material. They are allowed to mix in some old reliable bits but can only let go of the rope when telling the new stuff.
Art @ Kew Gardens
This winter and spring sees four exhibitions taking place across the various galleries inside Kew Gardens. There's a range of quite splendid botanical art on show, and it's the first time that the Shirley Sherwood gallery is offering original artwork for sale. Plus, Easter is always a magical time to pay a visit to Kew.
Genticorum @ Green Note
A Canadian trio known for their rollicking interpretations of Quebec folk songs with original instrumentals written in the traditional style, Genticorum celebrate the launch of their new album with a show at The Green Note on Bank Holiday Monday. Canadian folk to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord – what could be more appropriate?
