In a bid to turn Good Friday into Great Friday, Spoonfed has compiled some extremely decent London events for your entertainment and enjoyment.

Hunting Easter Bunny

Good Friday is the first of many May Bank Holidays and as such many Londoners will be getting ready for a long weekend of fun, sun and frolics.

As strange as it may seem to commemerate the cruxficition of Jesus with an egg rolling competition or an international ska festival, some of the events happening in London on Good Friday this year are just too good to miss.

Outdoors

We are normally graced with pretty fine weather in London at this time of year, and if the sun lasts through the weekend then everyone will want to take advantage of the best pub gardens and outdoor drinking establishments. Another treat for Londoners normally chained to their desks between 9am and 5pm is being able to take advantage of the many great London Parks this city offers.

Easter

If its Easter themed events you're looking for, then there are plenty to be found. To kick things off those crazy folk at Lost and Found bring their 6th annual Egg Rolling Tournament to Regent's Park this Good Friday. For the last five years they've been chucking decorated eggs down London's Primrose Hill in the name of good, clean fun.

This year, they are opening it up - it's not just about the humble egg, but they are welcoming sausage rolls, bacon rolls, profiteroles or any kind of roll. There will also be lots of games naturally, with an egg and spoon race, best dressed eggs and the grand egg roll. There's also some Easter shenanigans happening south of the river at the London Bridge Experience's Easter Head Hunt. This treausre hunt promises all manner of fun, games and prizes!

Clubbing

There are a great many traditions surrounding Easter, and clubbing is definitely one of them. If the weather holds on then all the cool kids will be flocking to the Get Diverted Terrace Party at Dex Club for their hot tub, BBQ and impressive range of cocktails. North Londoners will be pleased to know that rising star Lee Mortimer will be playing The Nest in Stoke Newington and bringing some stonking tunes along for the ride.
