Piccadilly, located in the heart of London is the perfect place to begin any city adventure. Standing in Piccadilly Circus under the imposing Eros statue you’re spoilt for choice: head to the shops on Regent Street, the theatres on Shaftsbury Avenue or wander off the beaten track to check out the tailors on Savile Row.
Piccadilly Circus is dominated by a very busy roundabout where Regents Street, Piccadilly, Shaftesbury Avenue, Haymarket and Waterloo Place meet, providing easy access to their thriving shopping and entertainment venues. With so much going on Piccadilly’s scene varies widely from the theatres on Shaftesbury Avenue in one direction to the gastronomic delights of Fortnum and Mason’s in the other. The area is home to several clubs from the rather exclusive ‘Paper’ Nightclub on Regents Street through to the much more touristy ‘Sound’ in Leicester Square. Despite this Piccadilly is also very family friendly hosting Hamleys toy store on Regent’s street and The Trocadero with its ‘funland’ feature.
